Artplanet is the first democratized online marketplace that connects independent artists with art lovers.  You can view, rate and make a purchase, choosing from thousands of original artistic works, the images that best express your interests and individual taste.

Each purchased Artplanet product you receive in the form of a unique poster with high quality and vivid colors, printed on a durable metal canvas, made of 100% steel, in one of three sizes:

You attach the metal poster without any additional tools or work, thanks to the magnetic mounting system. You can also request us to print your own graphic or photo on a metal poster, by uploading the work yourself in a dedicated "Up & Load" creator (coming soon). 

 

In order to better match the poster to your interior, we have implemented the Augmented Reality application, which allows you to try the virtual work on your wall using a smartphone. 

 

By buying artwork on Artplanet, you support an artist who receives an appropriate part of the remuneration for the created work. In addition, we donate some of the profits to plant trees with the Eden Reforestation Projects.

 

The Heart button allows you to express your admiration about the specific work the artist will receive information about. 

 

Each of the artworks offered on our website is hand-made under the supervision of the Chief Production Superhero as part of our own production park. We use high quality materials: galvanized steel, excellent paints and the highest quality digital printing technique using a plotter. 

 

We have high-quality graphics, which thanks to UV LED technology are carefully printed on a steel substrate with bent edges. 

 

Each metal poster receives a unique number. We attach an assembly kit consisting of  magnets to every order. 

 

Account

 

How do I create an account on Artplanet?

 

To create an account as a User please go here .

To create an account as an Artist please go here .

 

During the registration, the User or Artist performs the following steps:

1. fill out the form available on the Website: providing first name and last name, e-mail address, password and the username, optionally a short description (bio), profile photo (avatar) as well as city, country and sex.

2. confirmation that the User has read the Terms of Use and that the User accepts its provisions,

3. for the Artists: confirmation of the e-mail address via the e-mail that will arrive after sending the filled form. Confirmation is done by pressing the link (reference) in the message sent to the provided e-mail address by Artplanet.

4. it is only after the Artist has confirmed his/hers email the registration can be considered effective.

 

Optionally Facebook Login and Google Login are available to create the account and log in after its creation. 

 

Is my personal information safe?

 

Yes. Artplanet ensures that your personal data and all information submitted on our site are secure and will not be made available without your consent. Read here the Privacy Policy of the website to learn more.

 

How do I change my password?

 

Please open a Profile menu from Header menu (an icon with person) and go to the “Account settings” where you may change your password. If you forgot your password, you can change it via the password recovery option.

 

I forgot my password. How can I recover it?

 

Please go to the “Password reset” page located here. We will send you a retrieval e-mail with the instruction to follow.

 

How can I change my login e-mail address?

 

Please log in and enter the section ”Account settings” from the profile menu. On this site you may change the e-mail address linked to your account. 

 

How to delete my account?

 

To delete your account please log in and enter the section “Account setting”. There you will find the “Delete account” button, by clicking it you will delete your account and all content in it.

 

The data may be stored by the Artplanet Service for the time specified in the Terms of Use of the website here in the situations indicated in its content. 

 

If you are an Artist, the Product Models sold before removing your account will be produced and delivered to customers by the Artplanet in accordance with the Terms Of Use of the website.

What are the sizes of Artplanet products?

 

Each purchased Artplanet product you receive in the form of a unique poster with high quality and vivid colors, printed on a durable metal canvas, made of 100% steel, in one of three sizes:

 

Medium – M: 46 x 32 cm / 18,11 x 13,00 iches

Large – L: 71 x 50 cm / 27,95 x 19,68 inches

Extra Large –  XL: 81 x 57 cm / 31,89 x 22,44 inches

 

Each product has a printed back with a logo, a hologram of authenticity, and information about a person who did the quality control. 



How to take care of my Artplanet poster?

 

The surface of the poster can be, from time to time, wiped with a dry cloth to remove dust. It is recommended that you do not rub the poster surface with any material and do not use chemicals in liquid or water.

 

Is the magnetic mounting system included in the price?

 

Yes, it is. We add our mounting system to each product. It contains a magnet or 2-4 magnets, depending on the size of your poster.

 

To what surfaces can I mount Artplanet metal posters?

 

We recommend mounting the Artplanet posters only on even surfaces with no protruding elements. Therefore we recommend avoiding brick walls. Mounting on walls covered with wallpaper should not cause any problems, however, we are not able to assess the grip on your type of wallpaper.

 

How to remove a magnet from the wall?

 

To remove a magnet from the wall you need to grab a corner of the magnet and pull slowly. This can remove some paint from the wall, so we don’t recommend moving the magnet after mounting. 



Are there any other methods of mounting the poster?

 

We do not recommend any other methods of mounting our posters on the wall then using a magnet. Optionally, you can make a hole in the magnet and mounting it to the wall by using a nail. Some people use other methods but we recommend using magnets on a proper surface, to make sure the poster is safe from falling. 

 

Is it possible to purchase additional magnets?

 

Yes, you can purchase additional magnets. Just email us on support@artplanet.store so we can show you how to make that order. 

 

Orders

 

How can I pay for the order?

 

We use Stripe as a processing payment software. You can pay with your credit card or via Apple Pay. Payments are made in USD or EUR. If you use a different currency than mentioned above, the final charge is made in USD or EUR at the exchange rate of your bank.

 

Will I receive my confirmation e-mail?

 

Yes. After placing an order we send the confirmation e-mail. If you don’t receive it, please check your spam folder to make sure it didn’t get lost there.

 

How to use a discount code?

 

Please enter a discount code into the discount code box during the order summary in the cart.  Please make sure you enter the code correctly and don't forget to use the discount.

 

I forgot to apply a discount. Can you refund me a difference?

 

Unfortunately, we are not able to apply a discount to the order already placed. The only solution is to cancel the order and place a new one with a discount available on the website. However, please note that according to our cancellation policy the order can be canceled only within 24 hours of placing it. 

 

Can I get a discount for a bulk purchase?

 

If you plan to purchase more than 50 Artplanet posters at once, please contact us at support@artplanet.store. We will contact you to negotiate the offer price.

 

Can I change or add an item to my order?

 

Unfortunately, we are not able to amend the order already placed. The only solution is to cancel the order and place a new one. However, please note that according to our cancellation policy the order can be canceled only within 24 hours of placing it.

 

How to change my shipping address?

 

Please contact us at support@artplanet.store. In case if your order is already sent, we will contact the shipping company on your behalf to ask for a change.



Is the invoice included in the package?

 

We sent an electronic invoice to each customer after the order. We include electronic invoices when we ship outside the EU for our couriers. 

 

Can you customize an artist’s design which is already published on your website? 

 

The designs on our website belong to our artists and we are not able to make any amendments. Every design is an artwork of a specific artist and therefore their intellectual property.

 

Can I buy digital art files?

 

The Artists’ design published on our website cannot be sold in a digital format. Each design is owned by artists who created them and it’s their intellectual property.

 

Do you offer gift vouchers?

 

Unfortunately, we do not offer gift vouchers.

 

Do you offer a gift packing service?

 

We do not offer a gift-wrapping service, although our packages are quite a good fit for carrying a gift. 

 

Can I cancel my order?

 

Yes. It is possible but not later than 24 hours after placing an order. This is due to the production and shipment of products that can be after this time already made and delivered to the courier. Contact us here as soon as possible to cancel the order. 

 

I have canceled my order. When I receive a refund?

 

Your refund should be finalized within 14 days of cancellation but we will do our best to do it as soon as possible.

 

Will there be any customs fees applied to my order?

 

Depending on the destination, there is a possibility of an additional duty fee. Its amount depends on specific countries regulations. Any costs related to customs duties shall be paid by the buyer. You can find more information about the countries of delivery below. Shipping costs are counted on the checkout.

What countries do you ship to?

 

Product delivery is limited to the United States, Canada and selected European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary, United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Italy.

 

How can I check the status of my order?

 

Contact us here. If the shipment has been sent, we can track its location. 

 

All shipments are tracked thanks to the given individual number, which makes it possible to track them. Click here to get information about your shipment from the UPS courier's website or put the number in Google’s search field. 

 

What can I do if my parcel lack its content or the received product has some defects or is damaged?

 

Remember to always check the content of a parcel in the presence of a courier. If after opening the package you find out that it lacks its content or the product has some defects please register this with the courier and contact us here.

 

What is the estimated time of delivery?

 

Estimated delivery time:

- for a courier company UPS it is up to 5 working days counted from the moment the product was delivered to the courier (depending on the country of delivery).

The production time:

- 1-2 business days on the service side (production and delivery of products for shipment. 

 

What are the shipping costs?

 

The shipping costs depend on the total weight of the package, the country of shipment, and the fuel fee charged by the courier. In order to check precise shipping costs, the chosen product must be added to the cart. Customs duties paid by a customer may be added to the total cost of delivery, but that depends on the countries regulations. 

 

What shipping companies work with Artplanet?

 

All parcels are securely packed and sent by UPS.

 

Do you deliver to PO BOX, APO, FPO, DPO addresses?

 

Unfortunately, due to the shipping companies' restrictions on delivery to the above addresses, we might not able to send your order. We suggest using a regular address when placing an order. 

 

Returns

 

What is your return policy?

 

As a consumer, you may return your order without giving any reason by returning the product intact and submitting an appropriate statement within 14 calendar days from the day you received the order. Contact us at returns@artplanet.store with your return statement. 

 

This time-limit is calculated from the day the User took the possession of the Product. You as a customer will cover the following costs:

(a) the cost of returning the Product (return shipment)

(b) if you selected a manner of Product delivery other than the least expensive ordinary manner of delivery available on the Website, Artplanet is not obliged to reimburse any additional costs incurred by you. Returns can be directed to the address available here below. It is not possible to return the printout made on-demand, ordered as part of the "Up & Load" function based on the uploaded graphics and at the client's request.

Can I exchange any of the purchased products?

 

Unfortunately, no exchanges are possible. However, you can return you poster within 30 calendar days of delivery and make a new order.

Artists

 

How to become an Artplanet artist?

 

To become an Artplanet Artist, you need to first create an account on our website from the profile section of the header menu (or you can go here). During the Registration, the Artist performs activities which include the following:

1. fill out the form available on the Website: providing the first name and surname, e-mail address, password and optionally a short description (bio), profile pciture (avatar) and information about city, country and sex.

2. confirmation that the Artist has read the Terms of Use and that the Artist accepts its provisions,

3. confirmation of the e-mail address via the e-mail that will arrive after sending the filled form. Confirmation is done by pressing the link in the message sent to the provided e-mail address by Artplanet (this isn’t obligatory for accounts opened with Facebook Login or Google Login).

4. It is only after the Artist has received the confirmation from the e-mail address provided by the Artist that the registration can be considered effective.

 

Do I have to pay to become an Artist on Artplanet?

 

No. Creating an account and becoming an Artist on our website is free.

 

Do the artwork presented on Artplanet undergo any selection?

 

Yes, artworks are verified. In particular, we reserve the right to reject any artwork during the validation process that is not in line with the profile of our website or doesn’t meet our technical criteria. In addition, we reject work that contain controversial or offensive content that may violate our Terms of Use, especially due to violation of common social norms or legal regulations. The most common reasons for artworks rejection are: low quality files and Terms of Use violation. The work cannot be published more than once on the website (multiple pattern can not be published), or differ only in small details from existing work. You must be the owner of the image.

 

What technical requirements have to be fulfilled by the artwork to pass verification?

We only published high print quality uploads. Minimum 300 DPI in RGB mode. JPG size up to 40MB, shortest side at least 2900px. 1.4:1 ratio for the best product fit (ex. 4060px x 2900px). Preferred resolution to 5880 x 4200 px. Text/content shall be from the edge at least 200 px for the file.

 

How to upload my artwork to the website?

 

Below we present instructions for uploading works in 5 steps:

1. To add new works, select the “Add Artwork” from Profile menu or click the button “Add Artwork” in header menu. The window for adding works with infographics summarizing the requirements for the file will appear. Make sure your file meets the service requirements.

2. Click on the poster placeholder on Upload icon and locate the file on the disk a After selecting the file and uploading it to the server, you will hit see the progress bar. This preloading let you continue the data input after initial loading. When the uploading is complete you will see a cropping menu pop up and the button “Add Artwork” will appear active at the bottom of the page.

3. Enter the work name, then pick your price for this artwork. Add product to one from 5 categories that are a good match. Then add tags. They should reflect the subject of the work, describe the colors, style, techniques used or the references used. Entering tags has an autocomplete option that suggests a tag from the tag database. The "ArtTag" tag suggestion function also works there, which offers the best tags for the artwork suggested by our algorithms.

4. Select one or several of the existing collections to which you assign work. If you have not created any collections yet or you want your work to belong to a new collection, simply put the name and that will add the desired collection to your profile.

5. Confirm via the "Add artwork" button. A notification will appear confirming the successful completion of the process.

 

How to delete my artwork?

 

Log in to the website and visit the Artist's Profile page. In the Artworks tab you will see published works. You can delete the work there by clicking the "Delete" button.

 

Can I as an Artist set the price of my works by myself?

 

Yes, you can choose a dollar bonus that works as an additional margin added to work, which will affect the final price. You are always able to edit the prices of your works from the work Edit option on your Profile page, Artworks tab. 

 

Where can I see data about my sales statistics?

 

Go to your profile page and choose Your statistics for the overview of your sales: https://artplanet.store/user/profile/stats or Your sales for the revenue summary https://artplanet.store/user/profile/revenue




How long does it take to enter data about my commissions on the website?



The data should be visible up to 24 hours from the date of sale. You will be able to make a settlement after exceeding the minimum amount of $50. As part of the above settlements, no remuneration is recognized for the sale of those Products that have been returned by the buyer (based on a complaint or withdrawal from the contract).

 

Is there a minimum withdrawal threshold?

Yes. Payment will be made only once a minimum of $50 is accumulated on your account. That will be checked by the system.

 

How to request pay-out?

 

You don’t.  The payment shall be made by the 20th day of the following calendar month in relation to the date of sale of the Product. The payment of the Artist's remuneration will be claimed only if the remuneration due to the Artist exceeds $50.

 

When do I get paid?

 

Payments are made within 20th day of the following calendar month in relation to the date of sale of the Product. We wait for possible returns and summarize your sales and profits to send you payouts. 

 

What is the Artplanet copyright policy?

 

In accordance with the Website Terms of Use, providing product models, you grant us a non- exclusive license, which means that the rights to the works remain your property. More information can be found in the Terms of Use here (see Section III. Provision of Product Designs and sale of products. Information for the Artist). 

 

Affiliates

 

How to become an Affiliate on Artplanet?

 

To become an Affiliate you must create a User account (or Artist account) on Artplanet, and during the process accept the Terms of Use. You can create an account as a User here. D

What exact commissions can I expect?

 

You receive up to 20% off the net sales price of any work from your link. If the customer applies the discount , the commission is calculated at 20% of the net selling price, i.e. the price after applying the discounts. Remember that our special offers and discount codes that you offer to fans support sales. You get lower pay, but you increase sales, which translates into the sum of your profits.

 

Can anyone become an Affiliate?

 

Yes, all Users and Artists can share links and earn money after joing the program. 

 

How do I know that the commission is mine?

 

We use unique links and discount codes for that. They help us determine the source of traffic and purchase on our site. Thanks to this trick we know who is responsible for the sales. 

 

What happens if someone clicks on the link that I’m sharing, does not purchase it during the first session but comes back later and makes a purchase? 

 

The session in the browser and cookies help us track orders from links. Those files are maintained for 30 days, therefore purchases do not have to be made the first time you visit our website. If during this period the user makes a purchase, the commission will be credited to your account.

 

What if I’m an Artist on Artplanet?

 

You can also become an Affiliate and earn more. If you sell your work, thanks to affiliate links, you will receive a commission as an Artist and Affiliate. If the customer goes to another artist's work and makes a purchase, you are still entitled to an Affiliate commission.

 

Do I have to pay to join the program?

 

No, there are no additional costs for participating in the affiliate program as an Affiliate. 

 

How can I check my sales statistics and commissions?

 

You can find the sales data in the Affiliate Panel that is available in the Profile menu.

 

How to payout my commissions?

 

Your commissions will be published in the panel up to 24 hours after the sale. In the Affiliate Panel, you can see your sales and commission. You will be able to get a withdrawal after exceeding the minimum threshold of $50. The salary will be transferred through PayPal. You will receive your commissions after 20th of the following month the sale was made.
